This makes me think of waves of thought possibilities emanating out from the inner light of awareness. The gold concealed in the waves I see as the refined understanding/perception itself or the refining process of the inner light of awareness. I tried to figure out the meaning of the Latin to understand if it had any significance, but could not. Is the meaning relevant to this image for you?

Hi Mark! I did some sleuthing. Here’s the latin phrase written within the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome:
TV ES PETRVS ET SVPER HANC PETRAM AEDIFICABO ECCLESIAM MEAM. TIBI DABO CLAVES REGNI CAELORVM
… you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church. … I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven …
There wasn’t conscious reference to the latin on my part, but perhaps on another level it influenced the resulting image.
Thank You for taking the time to research the phrase. The translation definitely speaks to my thoughts about your creation regarding the refining process of the inner light of awareness. When that light is refined there is an increase in clarity of perception that can, eventually, at the highest levels of that clarity give us “the keys of the kingdom of heaven”. Heaven here I feel can be understood as unlimited access to the best and brightest parts of ourselves, which means our potential to do, act and create in the world becomes maximized to the nth degree.
My guess would be that on some subconscious level you were bringing that into your piece. Fantastic! Thank You so much.
